What's Happening in Caloundra and Great Accommodation Offers.

Let's take a sneak peak of what's happening in Caloundra this March and throughout the Easter Holidays 2013!

On Sunday the 10^th of March, the Kings of the Coast will be taking place.

If you’re a competive swimmer or a weekend warrior, make your way to King’s beach to test your strength in the ultimate open water challenge, the 3.8km ironman distance swim.

Another option is the Caloundra 2 km or the 1000 short course for the less experienced ocean swimmer.

Get the kids involved with the 300m Kids Surf Dash a good introduction to open water swimming and the thrill of a beach sprint finish!

This is a fun and free event for kids ages 8 years and up.

March 28^th to 1^st April The Caloundra Surf Festival!

A long standing surfing contest in memory of Caloundra surfing legends Pa & Ma Bendall. Organized by the Wind N Sea board riders club, the contest has been running for 38 years. It has been an incredible spring board for young surfers moving into the professional ranks as well has making a significant contribution to the community  fabric of Caloundra. Lots or prizes and competitions. First class surfing competition, surf art, photographic and historical displays, surf movies and music, something for everyone! Happy belated new year everyone!

It is the time for new resolutions, new beginnings and new happenings around the Sunshine Coast. This summer has brought us beautiful weather and lovely sunny days which helps us live up to the name 'Sunny Coast'. The year has brough it's share of busy times and exciting new improvements. We pulled through the tail end of the insane Cyclone Oswald with some rain damage, but managed to mop it up within a week which was incredible. Our thoughts and prayers to all those who lost homes and loved ones in this storm. We celebrated our 30th birthday here at Gemini Resort.

Looking forward to the new year we have been awarded the 4th best hotel in Australia and the 8th best hotel in the South Pacific by Trip Advisor.
